Ranbir Kapoor who is a frequent guest on Koffee With Karan, candidly expressed his weariness with the show and contemplated protesting against it. This revelation dates back to 2017 when the Barfi actor participated in the AIB Podcast. During the interview, he was asked about his feelings toward KWK. The 41-year-old responded honestly, admitting that he was indeed tired of the show. The Animal star recalled being forced into joining season 5 in 2017, and he had made it clear to the popular show host that he didn't want to participate. Ranbir further shares that both he and Anushka Sharma had considered rallying the industry to protest, believing that the show was inherently unfair from their perspective. He also said that KJo has been making good money out of the B-town celebrities, while for being on the show, these stars have to receive backlash in return.
Speaking about the popular talk show Ranbir said on the AIB podcast show, "I am. I was forced this season. I told him ‘I don’t wanna come’ and me and Anushka (his co-star in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil) were actually going to protest and bring the entire film industry together because it’s not fair.” What are your thoughts on Rk's comments on KWK?
On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor is gearing up for the release of Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal which is slated to release on December 1. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in major roles.
